PA5X Controller is a macOS companion app built for live performers using the Korg PA5X. It combines a stage‑ready songbook, lyrics with chords, setlists, and hands‑free remote control—so you can stay focused on playing instead of tapping through menus.
Connect to your PA5X via USB MIDI or Bluetooth MIDI and organize your library by categories, search instantly, and build gig sets for each show. Each song stores the details you need on stage (title/artist, key/transpose, tempo, SongBook number, and lyrics), and the performance view is designed for quick readability with adjustable text size and layout options.
Lyrics support ChordPro‑style chords and section markers, with an editor that lets you quickly clean up formatting, make last‑minute changes, and preview the result in real time. For true hands‑free control, PA5X Controller can learn your PA5X assignable switches and use the joystick to navigate songs, scroll lyrics, and toggle performance modes. Optional SongBook sync keeps the app aligned with selections made directly on the PA5X.
